Age Limit:
As on 30th June 2015, the Age of the applying aspirant must be minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
Relaxation Benefit in upper Age Limitation will be allowed to Reserved category aspirants as per government rules.
Academic Qualification:
The candidate must have passed Matriculation/SSC/10th Class from a recognized education board/council for Postman/Mail Guard posts.
In addition, if the candidate is applying for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) post then he/she must have passed Matriculation OR ITI from a recognized institute/board/council.

The Registration Fee must be paid at any Computerized Post Office of Uttar Pradesh State which has facility of e-payment.
Process of Selection:
The applicant will be appointed through following process:

1. Written Examination
2. Personal Interview

Pay Scale:
All the applicants appointed as Postman/Mail Guard/MTS will be paid under pay scale of Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/-
Grade Pay:
Postman/Mail Guard: Rs.2000/-
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs.1800/-
